DESCRIPTION:Postdocs make significant contributions to the research enterpr
 ise on UT's campus. Their publications and grant work serve to raise the U
 niversity's research profile. The Postdoc Research Symposium offers an opp
 ortunity to showcase postdoctoral research work conducted on campus\, whic
 h may lead to fruitful collaborations. While postdocs develop greater ease
  in sharing their research to a general audience\, graduate students will 
 discover research on a postdoctoral scholar level.  \n\nPostdocs are welco
 me to submit full applications for consideration by Monday\, the 26th of J
 anuary\, at noon.  As a reminder\, submissions must be from research work 
 conducted as a UT postdoc.\n\nFrom accepted abstracts\, postdoctoral schol
 ars will deliver a brief 7-minute speech with 3-minutes for Q&A.  Presenta
 tions will be judged on clarity\, engagement\, comprehension\, and aesthet
 ics.  Light refreshments will be served.  \n\nThe symposium welcomes the r
 esearch community\, which includes students\, faculty members\, research s
 taff\, and graduate students. The program is available online.   Webcastin
