After three heats, twelve finalists will be selected to participate in the 2024 3MT® Final Competition, one of the major events for Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week (GPSAW). If you're not familiar with 3MT® (or Three Minute Thesis), it's a competition where graduate and professional students are given three minutes and a single, static slide to talk about their thesis or dissertation work to a panel of judges. These judges (most of whom have no training in the presenter's field), then select whose presentations were best in terms of comprehension and engagement.

Come out to Student Union 169 to support these participants, learn something new, and celebrate graduate and professional education at UT!
