Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (Virtual Learning)

Our three (3) day comprehensive Maintenance Planning and Scheduling course provides a combination of classroom education with hands-on exercises. For organizations that have the Maintenance Planner Scheduler function, we find that less than 10% are utilized effectively.
Our course is designed to ensure that attendees fully understand the Planner Scheduler role(s) along with expectations of the supporting roles such as the Maintenance Supervisor, and the Production Supervisor. The course focuses on the benefits, roles and responsibilities, craft efficiencies, elimination of avoidable delays, partnerships, processes, job planning, the materials management and operations interfaces, scheduling, and coordination plus much more. Attendees will be able to take their classroom experiences and immediately apply them on returning to the site.
Who should attend?
Maintenance Planner Schedulers, Maintenance Supervisors and Coordinators, and Team Leads. From a partnership perspective: Operations Schedulers and Supervisors, Maintenance and Operations Management, Plant Managers, Purchasing Managers and Buyers, Storeroom personnel as these individuals often PREVENT effective Planning and Scheduling.

Jeff Shiver, CMRP, CPMM, CRL, ARP I-III, RCM2 / RCM3 Practitioner
Jeff Shiver helps people improve beyond the status quo. He initiates positive change in organizations with respect to culture, business processes, and most importantly, people.
Jeff has over 25 years of practitioner experience in manufacturing and facilities environments. Within Mars North America, he worked at four plant locations and held 2 corporate roles.
In Columbia, SC, he was a vital team member starting a new pet food facility, initiating a predictive maintenance program, and pioneering plant floor information to the web. In Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations management roles, he led proactive culture transformations that yielded significant results at the Waco, TX Mars site. Prior to Mars, he held Engineering positions at Proctor and Gamble, and IBM sites.
Starting People and Processes, Inc. in 2006, Jeff is a Managing Principal who continues to leverage his expertise by mentoring people and organizations in the Best Practices. Jeff is recognized as a trusted advisor through his many articles, blogs, books, conference presentations, and course deliveries. He is the co-author of “Kitting in Maintenance”.
