An author-meets-critics session dedicated to a discussion of Anthropology Associate Professor Raja Swamy's most recent book, Capitalism & Catastrophe: A Critical Disaster Studies Manifesto (2025). Critics include Assistant Professors Robert Bland (Africana Studies) and Gabe Schwartzman (Geography & Sustainability), as well as Ph.D. students Zane Fentress and Abel Traslavina-Arias (Geography & Sustainability) and Nawfal Saleemi (Anthropology).
