Graduate and professional students will often be challenged academically, socially, and culturally while pursuing their graduate and professional degrees. A valuable resource to navigate these challenges are mentors. This session will provide an opportunity for the participants to learn about mentoring relationships, the four phases of mentoring, a mentoring model, cross-cultural mentoring, and networking mentoring. The participants will also learn that mentoring is a dynamic reciprocal relationship, and that there are expectations of both the mentor and the mentee to make the mentoring experience mutually beneficial for both parties.

Part of the Fall 2022 Lunch and Learn series from Graduate and Professional Student Professional Development (GPSPD). Find out more about the series and register for this session!

Location to be determined. This is a "bring your own lunch" event; no food will be provided.
