The Hamilton County Agriculture Committee is made up of three County Commissioners and four representatives from the agricultural community. The Committee acts as a liaison between the UT/TSU Extension Office and the County government, and also serves in an advisory role regarding extension programming.

The Agriculture Committee holds quarterly meetings in February, May, August and November. There is also one additional meeting in January to review the proposed budget.
