An Evening with Brahms: Chu-Fang Huang & Chih-Long Hu

Faculty & guest artist recital; pianist Chu-Fang Huang appears to have it all: artistic maturity, technical gleam, and, especially, depth of interpretation (The Miami Herald). Winner of a 2011 Avery Fisher Career Grant, Ms. Huang burst onto the music scene as a brilliant finalist in the 2005 Van Cliburn Piano Competition and as First Prize Winner of the Cleveland Piano Competition that same year. Ms. Huangs career has already circled the globe. In this concert, Huang will perform with Chih-Long Hu the piano duo music by Johannes Brahms, including the Waltz Op. 39, Variations on a Theme by Haydn, Op. 56b, and the Sonata in F minor for two pianos, Op. 34b.
