Dr. Lucero is a Mexican-American artist who currently serves as Associate Dean for Research in the College of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaigna. He is most recently the author of “What Happens at the Intersection of Conceptual Art and Teaching? (2023)” and winner of the 2023 NAEA Higher Ed Teacher of the Year award.
