Art Salon is a free and open workshop series hosted by the School of Art's printmaking area. UTK Print invites students from all majors across the university to gather for an afternoon of skill-sharing fun.
NOVEMBER 12: “IT'S A WRAP!”
Learn how to construct a seamless hard-cover case binding or decorative box. Explore basic printmaking techniques and make your own patterned paper (great for gift wrap, too!).
Instructions or brief demonstrations will be provided upon arrival, followed by time and space to experiment. The drop-in format is designed so you can come and go as your schedule allows.
No reservations are required. Depending on turn-out, space and supplies may be limited to first-come-first-serve. All materials are provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes.
Art Salon happens once-a-month in the Printmaking Lab (Art + Arch 241), Friday afternoons from 1–4pm on the dates listed below.
