Ashe Lecture Series - The Challenge of Iran with Ambassador Steve Mull
The Ashe Lecture Series is part of our Leadership & Governance Program and is brought to you by former Knoxville mayor and US Ambassador to Poland, Victor Ashe. Ambassadors and mayors are invited to speak on a variety of public matters, including foreign relations, diplomacy, world affairs, and local government.
Ambassador Steve Mull, Vice Provost for Global Affairs at the University of Virginia, has served in a broad range of U.S. national security positions. Some of these positions include Lead Coordinator for Iran Nuclear Implementation, Executive Secretary of the State Department, and U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Poland.
Mull will discuss options for developing a constructive relationship between the U.S. and Iran that mitigates potential conflicts and uses converging interests while preserving each country's core interest.
This event is free and open to the public. Guests may park in the Vol Hall Garage on White Avenue at no charge by requesting a parking voucher from Baker Center staff at the event.
