Baker Cafe: Hijacking the Agenda with Dr. Jana Morgan

The Center will host Dr. Jana Morgan for a Baker Cafe, where she will present on economic power and political influence in the U.S. Morgan is Professor of Political Science as well as the Politics and International Relations Editor for the Latin American Research Review. In this Baker Cafe she will discuss her research, which uses text analysis of over 500 million words spoken in Congress across two decades along with in-depth analysis of policy processes to demonstrate how economic power influences the congressional agenda and policy outcomes in ways that privilege the wealthy.
