The Baker Cafe Series is an informal discussion about various topics. Guests are encouraged to ask questions that pertain to the topic and gain insight straight from the experts. We even provide refreshments!

This Baker Cafe will be a discussion with UT Lecturer Mr. Joe Jarret, a Tennessee Attorney, Federal District Court Mediator and Arbitrator, and Rule 31 Listed Civil Mediator, public risk and emergency manager, who has been practicing public sector law for over twenty years. This discussion will be about his public career sector and the unfortunate experience in dealing with employee suicides, homicides, and deaths from natural disasters. 

This event is free and open to the public. Guests may park in the Vol Hall Garage on White Avenue at no charge by requesting a parking voucher from Baker Center staff at the event.
