A 60-minute ballet-inspired workout designed to strengthen, lengthen, and challenge the entire body through graceful, controlled movement. Following the traditional structure of a ballet class, participants will begin at the barre with foundational exercises such as pliés, tendus, and leg extensions to build lower-body strength, stability, posture, and core engagement. The class will then progress into center work focused on balance, coordination, flexibility, and muscular endurance, finishing with adagio and light allegro combinations for a low-impact cardio element. This full-body class offers a unique alternative to traditional fitness formats while improving strength, mobility, posture, and body awareness in an uplifting and elegant environment.  All group fitness classes are FREE to UT students who have paid their student activities fees, and all faculty/staff who have paid membership fees to RecSports.
