 izza.\n\n \n\nResearch Security – Export Controls\n\n \n\nAbstract:\n\n \n\
 nA discussion on what Export ControI (EC) terms and language PIs/researcher
 s should look for in sponsor proposal\, grant\, and agreement documents and
  the potential EC measures that language could bring to a project.\n\n \n\n
 Biography:\n\n \n\nChris Godfrey has been the Export Control Officer in the
  Office of Research\, Innovation and Economic Development (ORIED)\, Divisio
 n of Research Integrity and Assurance (DRIA) since 2021. Prior to joining t
 he University\, he served in the US Navy and worked in the maritime industr
 y with CMA CGM\, leading the US Supply Chain Safety\, Security\, Environmen
 tal\, and Dangerous Goods Compliance Programs. He is a Knoxville native and
  a graduate of the FBI National Academy.\n\nCheck out our Brown Bag Series.
