Biography

Senior Distinguished Engineer Michael Shepard is a 25-year Dell veteran and recognized technical evangelist who speaks globally on the evolution and impact of AI and emerging technologies. He co-established Dell’s first AI COE in 2016 and was the founding member of the Services AI Research team. With a solid track record as a visionary thought leader, he currently leads the Services CTO team, focusing on unlocking human productivity. Inventing transformative user experiences in AI with agentic based personal assistants in the form of Digital Humans is his passion and he is always thinking about what’s next in the Age of AI.

Shepard serves on the MSBA advisory council for the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and has been granted over 20 hardware and software patents across multiple continents.
