Brown Bag: The Library is Everywhere! Incorporating the UT Libraries into Online and Hybrid Teaching and Learning

Join Anna Sandelli and Rachel Caldwell as they highlight the UT Libraries’ resources, services, and expertise that support online and hybrid instruction. The session will focus on expanding traditional definitions of “library” to illustrate the range of ways that the UT Libraries can be incorporated into synchronous and asynchronous teaching, learning, and engagement.

Topics will include connections to Canvas, Digital and Special Collections, support for multimedia and discipline-specific assignments, and self-paced learning opportunities. For instructors interested in equitable access and affordability for students, the second half of the session will focus on open educational resources (OERs), showcasing how these can be adopted and adapted into course. content.
