Building Mentoring Relationships in Cross-Cultural Contexts
This workshop is being offered by TLI as part of Graduate & Professional Student Appreciation Week 2021.
Mentoring is vital to academic and professional success. International students face unique challenges when it comes to identifying mentors who can support them in their journey. In addition, cultural differences can create barriers to establishing and sustaining the mentor-mentee relationship.
In this workshop, we will exchange ideas as well as share effective strategies and resources to help international students cultivate positive mentoring relationships in a cross-culture context.
