Building University-Community Relationships: More Than One and Done
The Office of Community Engagement and Outreach, in collaboration with UT Knoxville faculty, staff, and community partners, invites you to attend UT’s first Engagement and Outreach Conference. This free event will focus on the relevance, research, and reciprocity of engagement.
Attendees can expect to establish collaborations from across the university, community, and region to help solve complex problems facing Tennessee and build capacity with campus partners and stakeholders. The conference will highlight resources to integrate engagement and outreach into academic and research programs. Ultimately, the goal is to improve the lives and well-being of individuals and families in our community.
The conference will be held Monday, October 8 in the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy. Registration and breakfast will begin at 8:30, with the conference starting at 9 a.m.
