The United States Department of State will make a special visit to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville on Friday, April 21st.  The State Department recognizes that digital and cyber threats are constantly evolving and that their need for qualified and talented staff is growing.

In addition to diplomats, the State Department also needs world-class coders, programmers, and cyber-security experts to keep up with the changing times.

During this visit, you will have the opportunity to meet Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, Rena Bitter.  A member of the Systems team of the State Department will be available to answer questions about how to work for the State Department and what it is like to work for the United States Department of State, along with other questions you may have.
