Abstract
Branch Technology is a revolutionary construction technology company based in Chattanooga, TN with a unique biomimicry additive manufacturing process called Cellular Fabrication (C-Fab®). The company has completed some of the world's largest and most significant 3D printed structures using composite materials, industrial robotics, Freeform 3D printing, and proprietary algorithms. In this presentation, David will share about Branch Technology's journey, inventions, commercialization strategy, and the unique approach that the company takes in construction compared to both conventional construction and other large-scale 3D printing techniques.
Biography
David leads the Advanced Concepts Team at Branch Technology - a revolutionary construction technology company with a unique 3D printing for prefabricating full-scale construction products, called Cellular Fabrication (C-Fab®). David is responsible for new-technology commercialization at Branch. He leads the development and execution of government-funded R&D projects that apply C-Fab® to new challenges in energy efficiency, construction product development, material science, and in-space manufacturing. David has been with Branch for over 6 years now, holds an undergraduate degree in Physics from Birmingham-Southern College, and will graduate with his MBA from Vanderbilt University in May.
