Through two engaging panel discussions, this event will challenge common preconceptions about Deaf culture and highlight the authentic stories of those within the Deaf community. Panelists will share their lived experiences, offering unique perspectives on navigating academic, professional, and social spaces as Deaf individuals. From confronting stereotypes to celebrating cultural identity, these conversations will provide valuable insights into the rich diversity of Deaf experiences and promote a deeper understanding of what it means to live, work, and thrive as part of the Deaf community.
Whether you are a student, faculty member, or community ally, this event will offer an opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect. Join us as we create a space for dialogue, inclusivity, and celebration of authenticity. Register by Thursday, September 12 to help us plan and receive a calendar invite from our office.
