Leading the event, Ray Dalio, a renowned investor, philanthropist, and New York Times best-selling author, will give a keynote speech on today's most important issues and the critical roles the United States and China play in an era of rapid global change.
8:00 p.m. – Panel Discussion at UT
Following Ray Dalio's talk, please join us for a Virtual panel discussion at 8:00 p.m. to delve deeper into the issues and concerns of local importance. Shellen Wu, the director of Asian Studies at the University of Tennessee, will moderate this one-hour session. The panelists include:
David Parsley, E. Bronson Ingram Professor of Economics and Finance at Vanderbilt University
Larry Combs, Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Jack Daniel's Global Supply Chain
John McDevitt, Sr. Director of Supply Chain Management at Radio Systems Corporation
Peter Zysk, Director, and Head of Insight, Asia at the business advisory firm Brunswick Group
The event is hosted by the Office of Asian Engagement, Asian Studies, and History Department at the University of Tennessee, in partnership with TN-China Network.
