  generation and continues to inspire today. The first great rock musical\,
  it has some of the most rousing and soulful songs ever written for the st
 age\, including "Let the Sunshine In\," "Good Morning Starshine\," "Aquari
 us\," and the infectious title song\, "Hair."\n\nThe Pay What You Can perf
 ormance\, where patrons can name their own price\, will be held Wednesday\
 , April 19th. Behind the Scenes Sunday will take place Sunday\, April 23rd
  after the 2:00 pm matinee.  A Talk Back will take place Sunday\, April 30
 th following the matinee. The Open Captioned performance is Sunday\, May 7

  Festival\, North Carolina Stage\, and Knoxville Opera\, among others. Her
  Undergraduate and Graduate degrees are from Penn State\, she is a Certifi
 ed Laban Movement Analyst from the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement 
 Studies in New York\, and she is a member of the inaugural class of Educat
 ion Advocates with Theatrical Intimacy Educators.\n\nTerry D. Alford (Musi
 c Director) is a Distinguished Lecturer in Theatre and teaches Musical The
 atre Performance and Honor’s Introduction to the Theatre and Acting. Pri
 or to joining the UT faculty Mr. Alford held the positions of Director of 
 Musical Theatre at The University of Tulsa\, and Director of Musical Theat
 re at The University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point. He has worked professi
 onally as a performer\, director\, musical director\, and composer at thea
 ters across the country\, including the California Theatre Center\, Madiso
 n Repertory\, Omaha Playhouse\, Augusta Barn\, Fireside Theatre\, Light Op
 era of Oklahoma\, and the Clarence Brown Theatre. Terry has directed or mu
 sically directed numerous productions and has created the scores for four 
 original musicals and a variety of chamber and vocal music pieces. He is a
  member of the Clarence Brown Professional Company and regularly directs a
 nd musically directs for the Clarence Brown Theatre. Terry is the director
  of the CBT Summer Acting Workshop and serves as co-facilitator of Outreac

DESCRIPTION:The Clarence Brown Theatre will close its 2022/2023 Season with
  the Grammy and Tony-award winning “Hair\,” April 19 – May 7.  UT Fa
 culty/Staff receive 15% off ticket prices.  UT Students previews and Tuesd
 ay night performances for FREE and the rest of the performances for $5\, e
 xcluding Opening Night. The production contains adult content.  Tickets ar
 e available on this website.\n\nA celebration of life\, a love letter to f
 reedom\, and a passionate cry for hope and change\, “Hair” defined one
  generation and continues to inspire today. The first great rock musical\,
  it has some of the most rousing and soulful songs ever written for the st
 age\, including "Let the Sunshine In\," "Good Morning Starshine\," "Aquari
 us\," and the infectious title song\, "Hair."\n\nThe Pay What You Can perf
 ormance\, where patrons can name their own price\, will be held Wednesday\
 , April 19th. Behind the Scenes Sunday will take place Sunday\, April 23rd
  after the 2:00 pm matinee.  A Talk Back will take place Sunday\, April 30
 th following the matinee. The Open Captioned performance is Sunday\, May 7

 ams (Director and Choreographer) Casey teaches movement for actors\, music
 al theatre\, and serves as the Associate Chair for the Theatre department.
  She regularly directs and choreographs for the CBT\, and has served as In
 timacy Choreographer for the CBT\, River and Rail Theatre Company\, First 
 Take Productions\, and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. She has had the g
 reat good fortune to work as a choreographer or director at such theaters 
 as Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park\, PlayMakers Repertory Theatre\, The R
 oundhouse Theatre\, St. Louis Repertory Theatre\, Virginia Stage Company\,
  Vermont Stage\, The Utah Shakespearian Festival\, Great River Shakespeare
  Festival\, North Carolina Stage\, and Knoxville Opera\, among others. Her
  Undergraduate and Graduate degrees are from Penn State\, she is a Certifi
 ed Laban Movement Analyst from the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement 
 Studies in New York\, and she is a member of the inaugural class of Educat
 ion Advocates with Theatrical Intimacy Educators.\n\nTerry D. Alford (Musi
 c Director) is a Distinguished Lecturer in Theatre and teaches Musical The
 atre Performance and Honor’s Introduction to the Theatre and Acting. Pri
 or to joining the UT faculty Mr. Alford held the positions of Director of 
 Musical Theatre at The University of Tulsa\, and Director of Musical Theat
 re at The University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point. He has worked professi
 onally as a performer\, director\, musical director\, and composer at thea
 ters across the country\, including the California Theatre Center\, Madiso
 n Repertory\, Omaha Playhouse\, Augusta Barn\, Fireside Theatre\, Light Op
 era of Oklahoma\, and the Clarence Brown Theatre. Terry has directed or mu
 sically directed numerous productions and has created the scores for four 
 original musicals and a variety of chamber and vocal music pieces. He is a
  member of the Clarence Brown Professional Company and regularly directs a
 nd musically directs for the Clarence Brown Theatre. Terry is the director
  of the CBT Summer Acting Workshop and serves as co-facilitator of Outreac
 h and Education hosting Theatre Tours and Talk Backs.\n\nThe cast includes
