Classroom Tech: Classroom in Central Area of Campus, Consultation in Your Classroom 

Is your classroom located in the central area of campus? Sign up for this Classroom Technology Training during a time when your classroom is free. You will need to schedule your classroom through the AdAstra.utk.edu system. An OIT trainer will meet with you for one-on-one in-person training. Bring your laptop and power cord. Come prepared with questions and practice the techniques you plan to use in your courses. We’ll cover the topics you need such as, recording with Zoom or Panopto, using the document camera, Cynap features, playing videos in the classroom, and projecting your presentation. 

 

Following registration, check your email for a message with the subject line: Classroom Technology Consultation. This email will include the name of your trainer and a question asking what room and building we will meet you in. Please let us know if the building is unlocked or if we’ll need to meet you outside so you can let us in. We can not give access to rooms that we have not reserved. You will need access to the room and the building. This training is best for instructors who know the room they are teaching in and who have access to the room and building prior to classes.
