Join the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences’ Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies for the College Students Change the World Forum.  This forum brings together high school and college students for networking, visioning, critical thinking, and oral communication exercises to help students see themselves as leaders within their communities. The forum also promotes the ability for students to become positive, responsible contributors as leaders in society.

The event schedule includes networking opportunities, deliberative dialogue, and presentations of student capstone projects featuring the ELPS 350 &351 class students. Following will be a leadership panel featuring individuals from organizations and campus leaders to discuss their experiences as leaders on and off campus, followed with a Q&A session.

The highlight event will be the keynote from Mariah Smith, recipient of the Extraordinary Academic Achievement Award from Chancellor Donde Plowman, a member of the UT Women’s Golf team, and one of three Tennessee student-athletes who organized UT's historic march on campus to promote unity in the fight against racism on August 29, 2020 where a group of more than 1,000 combined student-athletes, UT students, faculty, staff and community members came together to march against social injustice.

Join fellow leaders for a day of inspiration, learning, and connecting with others to build your network for future successes.
