What Does It Mean to Be a Volunteer, Anyway?

JOIN SESSION ON ZOOM

When our audiences receive our communications, do they feel the spirit of UT—what it means to be a Volunteer? How can we develop better content by strengthening the ways we express our unique identity? This session will preview an expansion of our brand message strategy and discuss new guidelines, resources, and training to help us all tell stories that highlight our strengths.

Presenter:

I am happy to be a Vol, but I don't like the saccharine language of constant rebranding and florid self-praise of the university, especially when UT also has significant internal problems to address. This session also felt like hand-holding and assuming too little understanding from its audience.

This was a great presentation! Jacob knocked it out of the park! Such great information and preparation.

Jacob provided good background; liked the strong connection with Chancellor Plowman.

My favorite thus far! The phrases that stuck out in my mind...bold leader, a catalyst for change.
