Virtual Student Engagement and Communication: What We’ve Learned from COVID-19
JOIN SESSION ON ZOOM
When COVID-19 brought unprecedented change to UT this spring, our communicators were challenged to share critical updates and stay engaged with students virtually. This session is a review of what we learned works and does not work with our student body. Key players involved in student messaging will describe speculation and hesitation they encountered in planning, creative actions they took, and the results of their emails, social media, websites, events, and phone calls nuanced for incoming, returning, and graduating students. What can we learn from these reports and apply to our virtual engagement opportunities in the future?

Really useful information. The format was smart. Not enough time for Q&A!

As with some of the other sessions, I think this one was aimed more at larger units than mine, so it didn't all resonate with what I do.
