Running With the Wolves in Special Education: Reflections on the Field and a Career
The David T. Bailey Graduate School of Education inaugural lecture series is honored to welcome Dr. Sam Odom. Dr. Odom is a three time graduate from the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences and is well-known for his work in early childhood education and autism. Dr. Odom will present the evolution of the field of special education and services for children and youth with disabilities over the past half century. Additionally, Dr. Odom will present on the importance of conducting school-based research that supplies evidence for effective practices and educational policy. Reception begins at 5 PM, Lecture begins at 6 PM
