DEI Awareness for the Workforce: Reflecting on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion

Never has there been a more critical time to reflect on how diversity, equity, and inclusion can influence your ability to navigate today's workforce. Navigating the diverse landscape of the workforce requires understanding sources of implicit biases, and a fundamental comprehension of the terms diversity, equity, and inclusion. The goal of this panel is to equip the participant with resources to allow self-reflection on the significance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in their life, the value added of understanding diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workforce, and how implicit bias can influence the decisions you make professionally for yourself and others.

This session is part of the DEI Awareness for the Workforce Series organized by the Graduate and Professional Student Professional Development initiative (GPSPD). Visit tiny.utk.edu/dei-awareness to register for the series to get Canvas and Zoom access for the series.
