In this presentation, Dr. Jioni Lewis, an expert on racial microaggressions will present a workshop on interpersonal racism and microaggressions in the classroom and academic spaces. Dr. Lewis will highlight various manifestations of racism and microaggressions, discuss the impact of microaggressions on the mental health and well-being of students of color, and provide recommendations for faculty and administrators on how to intervene when microaggressions occur.
