Distinguished Lecture on Precision Livestock Farming

Daniel Berckmans, professor emeritus from Catholic University Leuven, Belgium will be visiting Monday August 12 for an academic exchange and seminar presentation. An internationally renowned researcher, Berckmans has produced and pioneered some of the seminal research in precision livestock farming (PLF), emphasizing development and commercial application of PLF technologies for real-time monitoring and health/well-being assessment of animals. His work also extends to real-time monitoring of human mental stress. A Q&A will follow.
