Diversi-Tea: Inclusive Mentoring for Students of Diverse Groups
Mentoring plays an important role in students' academic and professional growth. While college classrooms are becomin more diverse, mentoring strategies need to be more inclusive and relevant in order to accommodate mentees' needs.
In this session, participants will identify components of effective mentoring; develop mentoring strategies toward first-generation students, students of color, non-traditional students and international students.
Please note: This workshop is open to UT faculty, staff, and graduate students only.
