https://workshop.utk.edu/workshopinfo.php?workshop=590Diversi-Tea is part of an ongoing effort to facilitate communication among faculty, staff and graduate students about issues related to inclusive teaching practices. In monthly sessions, faculty and staff will be given the opportunity to learn from one another and engage in dialogue about the various ways of incorporating inclusive teaching practices.
In this session, we will be discussing invisible disabilities and their implications on inclusive practices both in and outside the classroom. Mobility impairments and visible disabilities will also be covered, and inclusion considerations as they relate to intersectionality will also be touched upon. You can learn more about Diversi-Tea on our TLI website, and register via our workshop portal.
Can't attend in-person? This workshop will webcasted during the scheduled time, and also recorded for later viewing.
