We invite undergraduate students to communicate their research regarding ecology, evolution, and related topics as a poster at the annual UTK EEB Undergraduate Research Symposium. Prizes will be awarded for outstanding posters. The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology will award at least one student the "Best Research Poster" with a cash prize, and Darwin Day UT will award at least one student the "Science Communication Award" with a cash prize. Runners-up will receive honorable mentions at the EEB Awards Ceremony at the end of the spring semester.
All students conducting undergraduate research in a related field are encouraged to apply. As a note, you do not need to be an EEB major or a member of the EEB Mentoring Committee to register for this symposium. Research may include honors theses, laboratory work (paid or volunteer), relevant internship research, and ecology and evolution themed course projects. Posters presented at EUReCA may also be presented at the UTK EEB Undergraduate Research Symposium.
