Efficacy and Effectiveness of Multicomponent Interventions in Childhood Obesity Treatment

Join the Graduate Student Nutrition Association as they present NED: Nutrition Education Discourse, a series of nutrition faculty research presentations.

Today's presention will be with Hollie Raynor, professor in the Department of Nutrition located in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences.  Her topic, "Multicomponent interventions in Childhood Obesity Treatment" will be based upon her research in lifestyle interventions designed to improve eating and leisure-time activity behaviors for obesity treatment in children.  Raynor's research includes examining environmental dietary factors, such as portion size, variety, and energy-density, which influence food consumption.
