Energy & Environment Forum - Visionary by Design: Towards a New Century of Innovation on the Tennessee River Valley with Dr. Brad Collett
Brad Collett is an Associate Professor in the UT Department of Plant Sciences with a Faculty Appointment to the UT School of Landscape Architecture. A Fulbright U.S. Scholar to the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2016 and Director of the Tennessee River Project, his interests lie with the realms of landscape performance and water resource stewardship at the intersections between built and natural systems.
Collett will discuss the effort to date, trajectory and interdisciplinary ambitions of the Tennessee River Project: a teaching, research and outreach initiative that seeks to understand and adress the contemporary challenges posed to the Tennessee River system, as part of the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center's Energy & Environment Forum. An abstract for the talk can be found here.
