The Antiquities Act, National Monuments, and the Regional Economy
Dr. Paul Jakus is a Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at Utah State University. Dr. Jakus's research focuses on environmental and regional economics. His talk will frame the current debate surrounding designation of public land by estimating the impact of public lands on local economies as part of the Howard H. Baker Center's Energy and Environment Forum. An abstract for his talk can be found here.
