https://research.utk.edu/oried/2023/04/12/energy-faire/In addition to a decades-long position as a leader in energy research, UT faculty have self-assembled in new energy-related areas of research, and education, with a goal to create a global energy ecosystem that both improves the quality of life and supports just, equitable, and sustainable energy transitions in industry, agriculture, and lived communities.
To further facilitate this growth, ORIED is planning a campus-wide Energy Faire to connect resources and researchers who work in energy-related research, education, and scholarship.
This event will include information tables hosted by the following entities, all of which have research interests within the energy ecosystem:
Who should attend?
Faculty, staff, and students interested in collaborative research and innovation opportunities related to energy. Topics of interests will include experts in built environments, energy production and storage, environmental sustainability, mobility and transportation, and history and humanities. Opportunities to engage a breadth of expertise will provide connectivity to collaboration across a range of disciplines.
