Each October, the Tickle College of Engineering hosts Engineers Day, a tradition going back more than 100 years. Undergraduate engineering classes are dismissed for one day to allow university students and faculty to spend time interacting with hundreds of potential UT engineering students from high schools and community colleges across the region. Students from all over the state travel to UT to explore and learn about the various aspects of engineering through discussions, project demonstrations, and exhibits prepared by UT engineering student clubs and societies.
