Enhanced Homeschool: Plants and Archaeology

The McClung Museum offers Enhanced Learning Homeschool Programs. These 90 minute sessions cost $5.00 per student and give students a chance to experience hands-on learning in the museum's galleries. The session dates, times, and subjects are listed below.

Online reservations are required, payment must be made in advance, and the fee is nonrefundable. Programs are designed for K-12 students.

In this session, we will explore what is archaeology? What do archaeologist do? How are plants connected to to archaeology? Join us for a special program where we will explore this questions through gallery tours, object-based inquiry, and a very special guest speaker.

Funding for the McClung Museum’s educational programming has been provided by the Knox County Tourism Consortium. This work is also supported in whole or in part by federal award number 21.027 awarded to Knox County by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Arts & Culture Alliance.
