Distinguished guests Dr. Tony Reames and Dr. Cedric Taylor will provide lectures on research related to sustainability and the environment. They will then be joined by a panel of UT researchers for a lively discussion. The symposium is open to the public, and especially to students interested in environmental justice. A short reception will follow the symposium.

This event is hosted by the Departments of Sociology, Geography and Sustainability, and Africana Studies. This event is apart of Energy and Environment Week, powered by the UT Institute for Energy and Environement (IEE). Energy and Environement Week at UT will spotlight collaborations and provide networking opportunities.
