Experience our guided garden tours, informational talks, wagon tours of the research center, and the highly anticipated fall plant sale featuring hundreds of varieties of locally grown plants as well as pumpkins and pansies! Guest lecturers include Troy Marden and Edward Lyon who will be sharing gardening and horticulture tips with attendees.
Troy is a widely-known expert in gardening and landscape design based out of Nashville and is co-host of Nashville Public Television's Volunteer Gardener. Ed is the director of Reiman Gardens at Iowa State University and is a renowned author and educator on all things horticulture.
Food trucks and local vendors will also be onsite during the event as well as local Master Gardener volunteers to help attendees with all their plant questions. The event will last from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5 and from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m on Friday, October 6. Friday will feature the plant sale only. Fall in the Gardens is free to attend and open to the public, so bring your families and stay all day!
