Fall 2025 Training Day: Empower Your Skills with OIT Supported Technologies

Determining when to share information via Teams or OneDrive, and understanding the distinctions between these platforms, is essential. This session will clarify the respective roles of Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint, guiding you on appropriate sharing practices. Participants will gain insight into when, where, and how to share content effectively, as well as the rationale behind selecting specific tools. The session will also provide clear strategies for collaborating efficiently with members of the UT community and external partners.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• - Differentiate between OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint.
• - Describe the steps for sharing files from Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• - Identify with whom files can be shared and which tool they should use.
