Food Preservation Classes

Event description

Home food preservation is making a comeback, and now is the perfect time to learn the safe and rewarding practice of canning! The Union & Grainger County Extension Offices are excited to offer a series of upcoming canning classes designed for both beginners and experienced preservers.

These hands-on workshops will cover the essentials such as proper techniques, updated safety guidelines, and helpful tips for preserving seasonal produce. Participants will leave with the knowledge and confidence to safely preserve fruits, vegetables, jams, and more right from your own kitchens.
