Frederick Douglass Day Celebration

We will be joining the LiveStream from the Colored Conventions Project

We will be celebrating not only Douglass’s birthday but also Anna Julia Cooper, nineteenth century Black woman writer and activist.  We will participate in a transcribe-a-thon of Cooper’s works.

Free food and birthday cake provided

We also will highlight a few Honored Guests who will be our ceremonial cake cutters for the celebration
