This free community event is offered monthly by the Master Gardeners of Hamilton County.

Prom season is almost here! With floral costs rising, this hands-on 3rd Saturday class will show you how to make your own flowers for prom using a simple grocery store bouquet and ribbon.

Floral designers Pam Guinn and Sarah Monroe will teach the basics of personal flowers, including small bouquets and pocket boutonnieres, a popular alternative to traditional corsages. During the workshop, participants will create their own prom flowers to take home.

Bring a small grocery store bouquet and ribbon. All other supplies will be provided.
