Tesa Tape

Abstract: In this talk I will introduce my career path from graduate school to R&D Product Developer for Tesa Tape, one of the largest tape manufacturers in the world. I will introduce the technical aspects of tape, the types of products we make, and what smart phones and skyscraper windows have in common (. . . It’s tape). I will explore the product development process through concept, research and development, to production trials and product launch. Finally, I will comment on how the skills you cultivate as a graduate student are transferrable into industry.
