New this summer! 4th and 5th grade youth can learn new skills and have fun at the Extension Office on three Friday mornings this summer. Cost is $10 per program. Registration for each program closes one week before the program and space is limited.
Friday, June 27 - Clothing & Textiles - Learn basic sewing techniques and how to use a sewing machine. Each participant will go home with a throw pillow that they have sewn. Youth should bring a white shirt or other item of similar size. They will learn how to create tie-dye patterns and will bring the item home tie-dyed.
Sign up by June 20 by emailing HamiltonCounty4H@tennessee.edu or calling the office (423-209-8560). Payments may be made at the Extension Office by check (payable to University of Tennessee), credit card or cash and must be paid before the program.
NOTE: Youth must have a completed 600A Activity and Event Acceptance Form in order to participate.
