Future of UT Green Power Purchasing

Since 2005, the Student Environmental Initiatives Fee (commonly known as the Green Fee) has allocated funds toward green power purchasing in the form of renewable energy credits. With new and emerging options available to reduce our energy footprint, the Green Fee Committee is considering the removal of annual renewable energy credit purchases and would like to receive input from the campus population.

We invite you to an open forum to learn about renewable energy credits and the alternative solutions our campus can pursue if funding is reallocated.
