Guest Recital: Hsiang Tu
Hsiang Tu, Assistant Professor of Piano at Virginia Tech, will present an all-Ravel recital featuring some of the composer's most beloved and well-known works for piano. Starting with two early gems, Pavane pour une infante défunte and Jeux d'eau, and ending with the decadent La Valse, he will tackle Miroirs and Gaspard de la Nuit, two monumental sets containing some of the most fiercely difficult music ever composed for the instrument.
